Introduction

This manual describes setup process, basic operations, maintenance, and convenient usages of the machine.

Please note that this guide uses screen images that show all optional units and optional products equipped to describe operations.

  • "Long paper" indicates paper whose is 488.1 mm landscape or larger.

  • In this manual, the loading orientations of paper and originals are represented as follows:

    • , “Portrait”: loading paper or originals in portrait orientation when viewed from the front of the machine.

    • , “Landscape”: loading paper or originals in landscape orientation when viewed from the front of the machine.

      Portrait

      The short edge is referred to as “Length” and the long edge is “Width”.

      Landscape

      The short edge is referred to as “Width” and the long edge is “Length”.

  • Some functions mentioned in this manual may not be used according to the model and installed optional units.
