Scan (ID Card)

Both the front and back of an ID card can be scanned onto a single page.

Note

  • A transmission failure report is printed when transmission was not completed normally.

    When scanning an ID card, such as a driver’s license, we recommend setting [Transmission Report - Job Undelivered] to [Off] to protect personal information. For details, refer to [Reports].

  1. Tap on [Scan (ID Card)].
  2. Open the document cover and load the ID card with the front side facing down.

    Note

    • Load the ID card in a position at least 5 mm from the top edge and left edge of the document glass.

  3. Close the document cover.
  4. Specify the recipient of the scan results.

  5. Tap on ([Features]) at the top of the screen, and set each item.

  6. Tap on [Start].
  7. Open the document cover and load the ID card with the back side facing down.
  8. Close the document cover.
  9. Tap on [Scan].
