Flow of Operations

This section describes how to configure the settings required for printing faxes received on a device according to a rule configured in FUJIFILM IWpro.

Flow of Fax Data and Items to Decide First

The flow of operations for printing faxes received on a device according to a rule configured in FUJIFILM IWpro is indicated below.

The received faxes are first forwarded to a folder of the device according to the settings for the folder selector of the device.

The faxes saved to the folder are then forward to FUJIFILM IWpro (cloud service) by FUJIFILM IWpro Capture (an application installed in the device).

The forwarded faxes are then finally printed according to a rule configured in FUJIFILM IWpro.

Keep the above flow of data in mind when deciding the following items, then start configuring the settings.

Item	Description
From which senders should faxes be forwarded?	Specify one of the following. Sender phone number or G3ID Fax line of receiving side Phone number of receiving side Configured in Step 1.
Which folder of the device should the received faxes be placed in?	To place the faxes in an existing folder, confirm the number of the folder to use in advance. You can also create a new folder to use. Configured in Step 1.
Where will the faxes finally be printed?	Specify an output destination of your choice, such as a workspace of FUJIFILM IWpro, File Management, or a cloud service from another company. Configured in Step 2.

Flow of Operations

The flow of configuration is as follows.

Step 1	Configuring the Device Settings (on the Device) Confirm that the device is connected to the network and that it is configured to receive faxes. In the folder selector of the device, configure the settings required for placing faxes from a specific sender in a folder of your choice.
Step 2	Configuring the Rule (in FUJIFILM IWpro) Create a rule in FUJIFILM IWpro for printing the faxes forwarded from a folder to an output destination of your choice.
Step 3	Configuring Fax Forwarding Settings (on the Device) Confirm that FUJIFILM IWpro Capture is installed in the device. Configure FUJIFILM IWpro Capture (application in the device) to pass the faxes placed in the folder to the rule created in step 2.
Step 4	Configuring the E-mail Notification Settings (on the Device and FUJIFILM IWpro) Configure the e-mail address to notify if an error occurs while forwarding fax data. Configure the settings for error notification from FUJIFILM IWpro and error notification from the device.
Step 5	Testing Fax Reception (on the Device) Use sample data to test whether a fax document is saved in the specified folder as configured.
