Step 1: Configuring the Device Settings (on the Device)
Operate the control panel of the device to check whether the settings required for connecting to the Internet have been configured. The administrator ID and administrator password of the device are required.
- The procedure differs according to the model of the device. For details, see the manual of the device.
Confirming the Network Settings of the Device
Check whether the settings required for connecting to the Internet have been configured.
- Log in to the device as the system administrator.
- Confirm the following settings.

Fax Line - One or more fax lines are enabled
- The IP fax function is not supported.
Folder Report Home screen > [ ] > [System Settings] > [Reports].
- Folder Report: [Off] recommended
- If [On] is set, a report is output for each received fax. Therefore, it is recommended that you set [Off] for paperless fax reception.
Job History Report Home screen > [ ] > [System Settings] > [Reports] > [Job History Report].
- Job History Report: [On] recommended
- An error report is output when an error occurs while forwarding to FUJIFILM IWpro.
Configuring the Folder Selector
Configure the settings for using a folder selector to place the received faxes in the specified folders.
Three different methods are available.
- Sorting by sender phone number or G3ID
- Sorting by fax line of receiving side
- Sorting by phone number of receiving side
- If you enabled both the receiving line folder selector and phone number/G3ID folder selector, the phone number/G3ID box selector is prioritized.
- As soon as configuration is complete, faxes start to be sorted to the specified folders. If you want to stop forwarding, disable the folder selector.
Sorting by Sender Phone Number or G3ID
Configure the settings for using the phone number and G3ID of the sender to place the received faxes in the specified folders.
- When sorting by sender phone number, a separate number display contract from NTT is required.
- The feature for sorting by sender phone number is only available in Japan.
- Log in to the device as the system administrator.
- Create a folder for reception.
- Tap the home screen > [Send from Folder] > [Create New Folder] > {Registration box}.
- Enter a folder name of your choice in [Folder Name], then tap [OK].
- Activate the folder selector.
- Tap the home screen > [
] > [App Settings] > [Fax Settings] > [Fax Controls].
- Set [Folder Selector by Telephone Number / G3 ID] to [Enabled].
- Tap the home screen > [
- Set the folder selector.
- Tap the home screen > [
] > [App Settings] > [Fax Settings] > [Fax Received Options] > [Folder Selector by Telephone Number / G3 ID].
- Set the phone numbers and G3IDs for each folder.

- Tap the home screen > [
- Configure the priority of each phone number as required.
- Tap the home screen > [
] > [App Settings] > [Fax Settings] > [Fax Controls] > [Folder Selector - Service Priority].
- Configure the priority for dial-in, sender number, and G3ID.
- Tap the home screen > [
Sorting by Fax Line of Receiving Side
If the device has multiple destinations (fax lines), sorting can be configured for each line.
- Log in to the device as the system administrator.
- Create a folder for reception.
- Tap the home screen > [Send from Folder] > [Create New Folder] > {Registration box}.
- Enter a folder name of your choice in [Folder Name], then tap [OK].
- Activate the folder selector.
- Tap the home screen > [
] > [App Settings] > [Fax Settings] > [Fax Controls].
- Set [Folder Selector Setup] to [Enabled].
- Tap the home screen > [
- Set the folder selector.
- Tap the home screen > [
] > [App Settings] > [Fax Settings] > [Fax Received Options] > [Folder Selector Setup].
- Configure the output destination folder for each line.

Sort by Phone Number of Receiving Side
If you are using the dial-in (modem dial-in) service, you can sort faxes by the phone number of the receiving side.
- The modem dial-in service is an NTT service that enables a single phone line to have multiple phone numbers. NTT services are only available in Japan.
- Log in to the device as the system administrator.
- Create a folder for reception.
- Tap the home screen > [Send from Folder] > [Create New Folder] > {Registration box}.
- Enter a folder name of your choice in [Folder Name], then tap [OK].
- Configure the settings for using the sender number/dial-in.
- Tap the home screen > [
] > [App Settings] > [Fax Settings] > [Fax Controls].
- Tap [Line 1/2/3 Add Service] for the line to use.
- Set [Caller ID] and [Dial-in] to [Enabled] as required.
- Tap the home screen > [
- Activate the folder selector.
- Tap the home screen > [
] > [App Settings] > [Fax Settings] > [Fax Controls].
- Set [Folder Selector Setup] to [Enabled].
- Tap the home screen > [
- Set the folder selector.
- Tap the home screen > [

- Configure the output destination folder for each line.
