What Is a Workspace?


A place for you to work with documents, such as registering or editing a document.
Multiple workspaces can be created to suit your needs.
Workspaces can be shared with other users by changing the settings.
There are two types of view modes: "Thumbnail view" and "List view."

There are 2 types of workspaces.
When creating a workspace, you can select the type.
  • Normal Workspace
    Displayed as Normal Workspace icon in the sidebar.
    It can only be shared with organization users.
  • Guest Workspace
    Displayed as Guest Workspace icon in the sidebar.
    It can be shared with organization users and guest users.
    Note that the following labels will be displayed to the left of the workspace name depending on the user accessing the guest workspace.
    • When accessing as an organization user: Currently open to guests
    • When accessing as a guest user: Joining as a guest

An organization user is a FUJIFILM BI Direct user who has been assigned a Standard or Light license.
A guest user is a FUJIFILM BI Direct user who has been assigned a Collaboration license.
A normal workspace will be created when an organization user logs in for the first time. This workspace is not shared with other users.
Workspaces are displayed in the sidebar under [Recently Used Workspace] and [All Workspaces].
  • All Workspaces
    The workspace created when you log in for the first time, the workspaces you created, and those shared with you will be displayed.
  • Recently Used Workspace
    The names of the last three workspaces you switched to will be displayed.
Note
When you log in for the first time, a workspace will be automatically created using the user name registered with FUJIFILM BI Direct.
In some cases, depending on the user name, the workspace name will be created with a string converted from the user name.
