[Date Stamp Properties] dialog box - [Advanced] tab

Date Stamp [Date Stamp Properties] dialog box appears when you select a date stamp annotation and then select [Properties] from the [Edit] menu.

[Top field]

Enter the text string to be displayed in the top part of the date stamp.
Up to 12 characters per a row can be entered using up to two rows. The text string is aligned at the center.

[Date field]

Displays the date specified in [Date].

[Bottom field]

Enter a text string in the bottom part of the date stamp.
Up to 12 characters per a row, and up to two rows of text strings can be entered. The text string is aligned at the center.

[Date]

Specify the setting of the date displayed at the center of the date stamp.

[Set today's date]

Displays today's date in [Date] using the format specified in [Date format].
The date of the date stamp is the date when the stamp is pasted.

[Set base year]

[Base year]

In order to set the base year to "1", the following calculation is applied: "(the year when you edited the properties)-(base year) + 1" You can also apply a traditional era name, instead of the western calendar.
This can be selected when [Set today's date] is selected. The year can be specified using the one- to four-digit numbers.

[Set any date]

Specify [Year], [Month], and [Day]. The entry fields are displayed in the order of [Year], [Month], and [Day] in the dialog box.
Whether the date is correct or not will not be checked.

[Date format]

When [Set today's date] is selected, you can select the date format from the following options:
  • [yy.mm.dd]
    Example: "September 25th, 2012" displayed as "12.09.25"
  • [yy.m.d]
    Example: "September 25th, 2012" displayed as "12.9.25"
  • [dd.mmm.yy]
    Example: "September 25th, 2012" displayed as "25.Sep.12"
  • [dd.mmm.yyyy]
    Example: "September 25th, 2012" displayed as "25.Sep.2012"
When [Set any date] is selected, you can select the date format from the following options:
Choices:
[Year.Month.Day] / [Day.Month.Year]

[Year prefix]

Specify a text string, which will be displayed at the beginning of the year in the date stamp.
[Year prefix] can be specified using both upper- and lower-case single-byte alphanumeric characters including special symbols containing blank spaces.
The blank space can also be used.
The default is "´(apostrophe)"
