Common Properties of Annotations - [Custom] tab

The following tab is displayed in the property of all annotations in common.
This section describes the [Custom] tab.
You can specify the original property in the [Custom] tab. Some external custom software might access the property that the user specified. Items on the [Custom] tab are common to any annotation. The following items on the [Custom] tab are described below.

[Name]

Enter or select a property name representing a file property. You can enter up to 255 characters for a name. Up to 10 property names entered once will be listed starting from the newest.

[Type]

Specify the type of the property. Click an arrow button at the right end of the box, and select the type of the property from the list shown. You can select text, value, date, or Yes/No.

[Value]

Enter a value according to [Type].
  • If the type is a text or a numeric value,
    for text, up to 1024 characters can be entered;
    for number, the range -2147483648 to 2147483647 can be entered.
  • If the type is a date,
    the calendar icon appears. Click a calendar icon. The date from 1970/01/01 to 2036/02/06 can be specified.
  • [Yes or No]
    Select either [Yes] or [No].

[List]

User defined file properties are displayed in list format.

[Add]

When you enter a property and click this button, file properties are displayed in [List].

[Modify]

Use this button to modify the type of properties and the values already specified. Click this button after selecting one property from [List] and modifying the type or value.

[Delete]

When you select one property from [List] and click this button, the property is deleted.
