Common Properties of Annotations - [Position and size] tab

This section describes the [Position and size] tab.
The properties that can be set in the [Position and size] tab of each type of the annotation are as follows.
Text
[Position]
[Horizontal position]
Specify the position of the text in lateral direction in the mm unit. The baseline is the left end of the page.
[Vertical position]
Specify the position of the text in vertical direction in the mm unit. The baseline is the top end of the page.
[Size and rotation]
[Width]
This check box becomes effective when [Word wrap] is selected in the [Advanced] tab. Specify the width of the text in the mm unit.
[Height]
This check box becomes effective when [Word wrap] is selected in the [Advanced] tab. Specify the height of the text in the mm unit.
[Rotate]
Specify the angle with which the text annotation is rotated for the view. You can enter an integer between 0 and 359 degrees. Text annotation rotates right by the angle you specify.
Note
If you specify such angle that the whole text annotation would protrude from the page or the notepad, it cannot rotate. At the same time, annotations fixed on a page or a notepad cannot rotate.
NotePad
[Position]
[Horizontal position]
Specify the position of the notepad in lateral direction in the mm unit. The baseline is the left end of the page.
[Vertical position]
Specify the position of the notepad in vertical direction in the mm unit. The baseline is the top end of the page.
[Size and rotation]
[Width]
Specify the width of the notepad. You can enter an integer from 5 to 500 mm.
[Height]
Specify the height of the notepad. You can enter an integer from 5 to 500 mm.
[Rotate]
This item cannot be set.
Line
[Position]
[Horizontal position]
Specify the position of the line in lateral direction in the mm unit. The baseline is the left end of the page.
[Vertical position]
Specify the position of the line in vertical direction in the mm unit. The baseline is the top end of the page.
[Size and rotation]
This item cannot be set.
FreeHand
[Position]
[Horizontal position]
Specify the position of the freehand in lateral direction in the mm unit. The baseline is the left end of the page.
[Vertical position]
Specify the position of the freehand in vertical direction in the mm unit. The baseline is the top end of the page.
[Size and rotation]
This item cannot be set.
Rectangle
[Position]
[Horizontal position]
Specify the position of the rectangle in lateral direction in the mm unit. The baseline is the left end of the page.
[Vertical position]
Specify the position of the rectangle in vertical direction in the mm unit. The baseline is the top end of the page.
[Size and rotation]
[Width]
Specify the width of the rectangle. You can enter an integer from 3 to 2,400 mm.
[Height]
Specify the height of the rectangle. You can enter an integer from 3 to 2,400 mm.
[Rotate]
This item cannot be set.
Ellipse
[Position]
[Horizontal position]
Specify the position of the ellipse in lateral direction in the mm unit. The baseline is the left end of the page.
[Vertical position]
Specify the position of the ellipse in vertical direction in the mm unit. The baseline is the top end of the page.
[Size and rotation]
[Width]
Specify the width of the ellipse. You can enter an integer from 3 to 2,400 mm.
[Height]
Specify the height of the ellipse. You can enter an integer from 3 to 2,400 mm.
[Rotate]
This item cannot be set.
Polygon
[Position]
[Horizontal position]
Specify the position of the polygon in lateral direction in the mm unit. The baseline is the left end of the page.
[Vertical position]
Specify the position of the polygon in vertical direction in the mm unit. The baseline is the top end of the page.
[Size and rotation]
This item cannot be set.
Date Stamp
[Position]
[Horizontal position]
Specify the position of the date stamp in lateral direction in the mm unit. The baseline is the left end of the page.
[Vertical position]
Specify the position of the date stamp in vertical direction in the mm unit. The baseline is the top end of the page.
[Size and rotation]
[Width]
Specify the width of the date stamp. You can enter an integer from 10 to 500 mm.
[Height]
Specify the height of the date stamp. You can enter an integer from 10 to 500 mm.
When different values are entered in [Width] and [Height] and click [OK], date stamp is arranged by the larger value.
[Rotate]
This item cannot be set.
Received Stamp
[Position]
[Horizontal position]
Specify the position of the received stamp in lateral direction in the mm unit. The baseline is the left end of the page.
[Vertical position]
Specify the position of the received stamp in vertical direction in the mm unit. The baseline is the top end of the page.
[Size and rotation]
[Width]
Specify the width of the received stamp. You can enter an integer from 10 to 500 mm.
[Height]
Specify the height of the received stamp. You can enter an integer from 10 to 500 mm.
When different values are entered in [Width] and [Height] and click [OK], received stamp is arranged by the larger value.
[Rotate]
This item cannot be set.
Date and Time
[Position]
[Horizontal position]
Specify the position of the date and time annotation in lateral direction in the mm unit. The baseline is the left end of the page.
[Vertical position]
Specify the position of the date and time annotation in vertical direction in the mm unit. The baseline is the top end of the page.
[Size and rotation]
This item cannot be set.
Link
[Position]
You can specify the position in properties if you select [Edit All Links/Titles] of [Link/Title] from the [Document] menu in Viewer.
[Horizontal position]
Specify the position of the link annotation in lateral direction in the mm unit. The baseline is the left end of the page.
[Vertical position]
Specify the position of the link annotation in vertical direction in the mm unit. The baseline is the top end of the page.
[Size and rotation]
[Width]
Specify the width of the link. You can enter an integer from 5 to 2,400 mm.
[Height]
Specify the height of the link. You can enter an integer from 5 to 2,400 mm.
[Rotate]
This item cannot be set.
Title
[Position]
You can specify the position in properties if you unfix the title annotation.
[Horizontal position]
Specify the position of the title annotation in lateral direction in the mm unit. The baseline is the left end of the page.
[Vertical position]
Specify the position of the title annotation in vertical direction in the mm unit. The baseline is the top end of the page.
[Size and rotation]
This item cannot be set.
Bitmap
[Position]
[Horizontal position]
Specify the position of the bitmap in lateral direction in the mm unit. The baseline is the left end of the page.
[Vertical position]
Specify the position of the bitmap in vertical direction in the mm unit. The baseline is the top end of the page.
[Size and rotation]
This item cannot be set.
OLE
[Position]
[Horizontal position]
Specify the position of the OLE in lateral direction in the mm unit. The baseline is the left end of the page.
[Vertical position]
Specify the position of the OLE in vertical direction in the mm unit. The baseline is the top end of the page.
[Size and rotation]
[Width]
Specify the width of the OLE.
[Height]
Specify the height of the OLE.
[Rotate]

Shapes
[Position]
[Horizontal position]
Specify the position of the shapes in lateral direction in the mm unit. The baseline is the left end of the page.
[Vertical position]
Specify the position of the shapes in vertical direction in the mm unit. The baseline is the top end of the page.
[Size and rotation]
[Width]
Specify the width of the shapes. You can enter an integer from 3 to 500 mm.
[Height]
Specify the height of the shapes. You can enter an integer from 3 to 500 mm.
[Rotate]
Specify the angle with which the shapes are rotated for the view. You can set angle from 0, 90, 180, or 270 degrees. The figure rotates right by the angle you specify.
Grouped annotation
[Position]
[Horizontal position]
Specify the position of the annotation in lateral direction in the mm unit. The baseline is the left end of the page.
[Vertical position]
Specify the position of the annotation in vertical direction in the mm unit. The baseline is the top end of the page.
[Size and rotation]
