Rule Categorization

Rules are created by combining several categories. The items are categorized as follows.

Input

Configures the method for importing documents.

Document Modification

Configures the method for processing imported documents, such as format conversion, noise reduction, and skew correction.

Document Splitting

Configures the method for splitting imported documents by form type, string, or blank pages, etc.

Branch

Configures the method for detecting form types by keyword, etc., and the method for sorting documents after detection.

Attribute Extraction

Configures the method for extracting attributes from imported documents or documents after splitting. Also configures the format for the output documents.

Output Format

Configures whether to assign attributes to the file or delete all attributes when the document input from a workspace is in the PDF or XDW format.

Output

Configures settings such as the location to store documents using extracted attribute information and folder name/file name settings, how to save a CSV file containing the attribute information, and registration to an external service.

Testing Rules

You can test the rule operation and parameter settings to check whether the created rules operate normally. If an error occurs, the location where the error occurred and the cause of the error are displayed.

Publishing Rules

If you publish rules, they can be used or edited by other users in the same tenant. System administrator, operation administrator, service administrator, or rule administrator privileges are required to edit rules. Rules are unpublished when edited, and must be republished after editing.

Rule Template List

The following rules are provided in advance. They are called "rule templates".

Use them as-is, or customize them according to your workflow.

  • The document type displayed in the rule template can be changed in [Rule List] > [Settings] > [Change Form Type] after creating the rule.
  • If you want to use a form other than a preset form as a template, it is necessary to add a custom form in [Preferences] > [Form Type Setting] in [Rule Settings] in advance.
  • The following templates can only be selected when Japanese is set as the display language.

    Split documents by form, barcode, QR code, blank pages, or specified page when multiple forms are input.
  4. Attribute Extraction
    Extract attributes from barcode information, processed strings, and CSV files. Also perform format conversion on output files. Perform OCR processing.

  5. Output
