[Basic] Tab

Enables you to configure frequently used print settings such as the paper size and image orientation.

You can check the selected settings in the preview image.

Each time the icon is clicked, the screen switches between the pages per sheet, two-sided, booklet, staple, and output color settings.

[Saved Settings]

Enables you to configure multiple print settings at a time. You can select settings provided by default or settings you have registered.

[image] (Properties)

Displays the [Edit Saved Settings] screen.

[Register to Saved Settings]

Displays the [Register to Saved Settings] screen and registers the current settings to saved settings.

[Output Color]

Sets whether to print in color or black and white.

  • If you select a color watermark in [Watermark] with [Output Color] set to [Color], a color watermark is printed even on pages containing only black and white data.

[Copies]

Specify the number of copies to print, from 1 to 9,999.

[Paper Size]

Configure the paper size.

[Image Orientation]

Configure the orientation of the document to print.

[Output Paper Size]

Configure the output paper size to print on when automatically enlarging or reducing the document according to the paper size.

[Reduce/Enlarge]

Select this check box to specify the scale. It can be specified when [1 Page Up] is selected in [Pages Per Sheet (N-Up)].

[Scale]

Configure the scale for printing, from 25 to 400%. It can be specified when [1 Page Up] is selected in [Pages Per Sheet (N-Up)].

[Pages Per Sheet (N-Up)]

Prints multiple pages on a single sheet of paper.

  • If you select [16] or [32], [Booklet] cannot be set.
  • If you select [2] or above, you cannot set [Apply Zoom to Application] on the [Advanced] tab.

[Image Order]

Enables you to set the order for arranging the pages on the paper when printing with [Pages Per Sheet (N-Up)] specified.

[2-Sided Print]

Prints on both sides of the paper (front and back).

  • If you selected [Poster], [Off] is automatically selected.

[Draw Page Borders]

Draws borders on each page when printing with [Pages Per Sheet (N-Up)] or [Booklet] specified.

[Booklet]

Sets whether to bi-fold or bi-fold then staple the printed paper.

[Booklet / Poster / Mixed Size Originals]

Displays [Booklet / Poster / Mixed Size Originals].

[Staple]

Configures whether to perform stapling and the stapling method to use.

  • Only the following combinations of paper sizes are available when stapling a mix of paper sizes together.
    • A3 (297 × 420 mm) and A4 (210 × 297 mm)
    • B4 (257 × 364 mm) and B5 (182 × 257 mm)
    • 11 × 17″　and 8.5 × 11″ (Letter)

[Staple / Hole Punch Position]

Specify the position for stapling and punching holes.

[Default All]

Restores the default settings of the printer.
