Printing with Covers/Separators

You can print with covers inserted at the first or last page of a document.

You can also insert separator paper to divide the pages of a document.

  1. Click the [Tray / Output] tab.
  2. Select the paper to use for the main document in [Paper Tray].
  3. Click [Covers/Separators].
  4. Selected the desired item on the [Covers/Separators] screen.
  5. Select the tray to use for the front cover, back cover, or separators.
  6. Click [OK].

  • If a front cover is added with a paper tray specified in the application, the tray selected in the application is prioritized when printing. The cover is printed from the tray specified here if the paper tray selected in the application is configured to follow the device settings.

  • If you select the [Print on Front Cover] check box, the first page of the document is printed on the front cover. If you deselect the check box, the document is printed with a cover inserted at the first page.
  • To insert separators, select the numbers of the pages where the separators will be inserted.
