Specifying the Image Orientation
- Click the [Basic] tab.
- Select [Portrait] or [Landscape] for [Image Orientation]. You can check the selected orientation in the preview image.
- Click [OK].
- The orientation selected in the application (such as the print settings of Word) is prioritized. The orientation selected here is prioritized if the application does not have priority. If you select an orientation other than [Portrait] or [Landscape] in the application, printing is performed with portrait orientation.
- When printing with binding edges (blank areas), the positions of the binding edges are automatically adjusted if the image orientation is changed from portrait to landscape or from landscape to portrait.
Specifying the Image Orientation for Mixed Size Output
You can specify the orientation for mixed size output.
If you select [Portrait] or [Landscape] for [Image Orientation] in [First Page] or [Mixed Page] on the [Mixed Size Output Settings] screen, the image orientation is automatically adjusted when printing.
- Click the [Tray / Output] tab.
- Click [Mixed Size Output Settings].
The [Mixed Size Output Settings] screen is displayed.
- Select the image orientation in [First Page] and [Mixed Page].When Specifying the Image Orientation of the First PageSelect [Portrait] or [Landscape] for [Image Orientation].When Specifying the Image Orientation of Mixed PagesSelect [Print Mixed Size Originals], then select [Portrait] or [Landscape] for [Image Orientation] in [Mixed Page].You can check the selected settings in the preview image.
