Adding Plug-in or Changing Setting

This topic describes how to add a plug-in to the toolbar or task toolbar and change the setting of the plug-in that is added to the toolbar or task toolbar.
The procedure to move or delete a plug-in button on the toolbar or task toolbar is the same as for buttons other than plug-in buttons. For details, refer to "Customizing the Toolbar;" or "Customizing the Task Toolbar".

Adding plug-ins

Procedure
1.
On Desk, select [Tool Settings] from the [Tool] menu.
2.
Open the [Commands] tab in the [Toolbar Options] dialog box, then select [Tool] from [Categories].
The plug-in list is displayed in [Commands].
3.
Drag and drop the target plug-in button from [Commands] to the toolbar or task toolbar.
Depending on the type of the plug-in, a setup dialog box may appear. Set each of the necessary items.
4.
Click [Close] in the [Toolbar Options] dialog box.

Changing plug-in settings

Procedure
1.
Right-click the plug-in button located on the toolbar or task toolbar.
2.
Select [Properties] from the shortcut menu.
3.
A dialog box for the plug-in appears to allow you to change the setting.
For the displayed dialog box, refer to the relevant topic of each plug-in.
Note
Some types of plug-ins do not allow you to change their setting.

Changing icons of plug-in buttons

Procedure
1.
Right-click the plug-in button located on the toolbar or task toolbar.
2.
Select [Change Icon] from the shortcut menu.
3.
Enter the file name and click [OK]. You can select EXE, DLL, ICO and BMP files that contain icon images.
Note
  • When an icon image that is included in the file specified in [File] is displayed in [Available Icons], select from there.
  • You can select a file in the file selection dialog box by clicking [Browse]. If the Windows Explorer options are set so that DLL files are hidden, they will not appear in the file selection dialog box. In this case, change the options setting to show all file types.
