Loading a Document into a Tray
Using a tray gadget
Procedure
1.
Drag and drop a file from the Desk Workspace, Windows Explorer, or another tray window to a tray gadget.
The file is moved to a tray.
To copy a file to a tray, drag and drop it while holding the <Ctrl> key.
To copy a file to a tray, drag and drop it while holding the <Ctrl> key.
When copying a file to a tray gadget by drag and drop, change the setting, referring to "Configuring Tray Operations".
Using the tray window
Procedure
1.
Use one of the following steps to open the tray window.
- Double-click a tray gadget.
- Right-click on the tray gadget, and select [Open] in the pop-up menu.
- If a tray is displayed in the [New Notification Screen] dialog box, click the displayed tray.

Execute one of the following steps.
- Drag and drop a file from the Desk Workspace or Windows Explorer to the tray window.
The file is moved to a tray. To copy a file to a tray, drag and drop it while holding the <Ctrl> key. - Right-click in the tray window, and select [Import Document] in the pop-up menu.
Select one or multiple files in the [Import Document] dialog box, and click [Open]. - Drag and drop a file to the tray window from another tray window.
The file is moved to the tray. To copy the file to the tray, drag and drop while holding down the <Ctrl> key.
When copying a file to the tray window by drag and drop, change the setting, referring to "Configuring Tray Operations".
Note
- Folders and copy-secure files cannot be loaded into a tray.
- If a screen prompting you to log in to FUJIFILM BI Direct appears during operations, log in to the service in accordance with the authentication settings for FUJIFILM BI Direct.
In order to use multi-factor authentication for FUJIFILM BI Direct, you must update DocuWorks Tray to Version 2.3.2 or later. For information on setting up authentication for FUJIFILM BI Direct, refer to each document for FUJIFILM BI Direct. - If the tray has a document with the same name as the one newly added, the added document is applied a branch number at the end of the file name.
