Workspace Access Permissions

The following describes the access permissions for users sharing a workspace.
  • Management
  • Write Allowed
  • Read-Only

If the user you are sharing with is a guest user, see "Restrictions on Guest Users" for information about the features available to guest users.
If the access permission is [Management], there are no restrictions on operations.
If you have [Write Allowed] or [Read-Only] access, the following operations are restricted.
Note
  • If a user's access permission is [Management], the user cannot change his/her own access permission.
  • If the access permission of the group that includes the user is [Management], the access permission of that group cannot be changed.
Write Allowed Read-Only
Changing name, description, and color
Adding or deleting the users who you are sharing with, and changing their access permissions
Deleting
Specifying as the destination to move documents to
Specifying as the import destination from the archive
If the access permission is [Management], there are no restrictions on operations.
If you have [Write Allowed] or [Read-Only] access, the following operations are restricted.
Write Allowed Read-Only
Creating
Locking/unlocking
Adding and deleting versions
Editing (stacking, splitting, rotating, etc.)
Copying
Deleting
Converting to PDF
Moving to another location (workspace, tray, or archive)
Changing name
Adding, changing, or deleting properties
Adding and deleting attachments, and changing descriptions
Moving within workspace
Creating document public URLs
