Conventions

The following symbols are used in this guide.
Important
Indicates important information you have to know or be reminded before operations.
Note
Indicates supplemental information useful for operations.
Refer
Indicates reference destinations.

Indicates items displayed on the PC screen, such as a screen, menu, dialog, tab or button.
Example: Click [OK].

Indicates the keys on your keyboard.
Example: Press the <Ctrl> key.

Indicates variable values that depend on the operational environment, such as a drive name or user name.
Example: Displays "{user folder}\temp".

Indicates messages, entered values, and emphasized content.
Example: The message "Delete a document." is displayed.

Indicates the names of manuals and guide systems.
