[Output Format Settings] Screen

This screen is displayed by clicking [Settings] for [Output Format] on the [Rule List] screen.

It enables you to configure the format of the file to output.

[File Format]

Configures the file format of the file to output.

  • Attributes can be added when [PDF] or [XDW] is specified for [File Format] in [Output Format]. Attributes are added in the string format.

[Use Original File]

Select this check box to use the original document.

If it is selected, the additional information of the input document, such as annotations, can be carried over to the output document.

  • This is displayed when [PDF] or [XDW] is selected as the file format.
  • When this setting is enabled, a secure XDW document or signed PDF/XDW document cannot be selected as the input document.

[OCR (Searchable Text Processing)]

Configures whether to perform OCR processing.

Performing OCR processing enables you to copy and search the text in a document.

[File Attributes]

Selects whether to assign the extracted attributes as file attributes.

If you select [Delete All], you can delete the file attributes assigned to the file that was input.

  • Attributes containing a blank string for the attribute value are not assigned to the file, even if you select [Assign]. The values of existing file attributes are not overwritten with blank characters.
