Log in to FUJIFILM IWpro with the account of a user with system administrator, operation administrator, service administrator, or rule administrator privileges.
In the launcher menu, click [Admin Menu] > [Rule Settings].
Perform the following operations.
When Testing Rules
Rules cannot be tested if [Workspace] is selected in [Input].
If [Fax], [Scan], or [Email] is specified in [Input], testing is performed with temporary values set for some parameters, such as the device name or user information.
The rule testing process can be canceled while it is executing. However, the data may still be output, depending on when the process is canceled.
A screen indicating the progress is displayed while the rule testing process is executing, and when the process is complete, the output results and information on the output destination are displayed.
The results of the rule testing are not retained in the job history.
Testing cannot be executed for a rule unless its output destination settings are complete.
If you edit a rule or a problem occurs with a job, use this operation to check whether the functions set in the rule are valid.
On the [Rule List] screen, select the rule to test, and click [Test Execution].
On the [Test Execution] screen, select the file to use for test execution, and click [Start].
Check the test results on the displayed screen.
When Publishing Rules
If you unpublish a rule that is configured to forward the received fax documents of a device or a rule with FUJIFILM IWpro Linked Folder configured, the job currently processing stops. Confirm that this will not affect the processes that are operating before unpublishing the rule.
If you publish rules, they can be used by other users in the same tenant. You can also unpublish rules.
Unpublished rules can only be viewed by a user with service administrator or rule administrator privileges. They are also not displayed on the control panel of the device.
On the [Rule List] screen, select the rule to publish, and enable [Publish].
If the rule is not saved, a warning screen is displayed. Click [Save Settings and Publish] to publish the rule.
When Deleting Rules
If you delete a rule that is configured to forward the received fax documents of a device or a rule with FUJIFILM IWpro Linked Folder configured, the job currently processing stops. Confirm that this will not affect the processes that are operating before deleting the rule.
Before deleting a rule, confirm that the [Publish] setting of the rule is disabled.
On the [Rule List] screen, select the rule to delete, and click [Delete].
