Specifying the Paper Type and Color to Prioritize

When feeding paper with automatic paper tray selection set, you can prioritize paper tray selection based on the type and color of paper that is loaded.

1. Click the [Tray / Output] tab.
2. Click [Advanced Tray Settings].
3. Select the paper type to prioritize in [Paper Type for Auto Tray].
4. Select the paper color to prioritize in [Paper Color for Auto Tray].
5. Click [OK].

• To select a certain paper type loaded in paper trays 1 to 7, select the paper tray to use for printing.
• For information on the paper types set in [Custom 1] to [Custom 5], check the device settings.
