[LDAP User Mappings] Screen

This screen is displayed by clicking [LDAP User Mappings] on the [LDAP Sync] screen.

  • It enables you to configure [Setting Group], [Length of Initial Password], [E-mail Address Attribute], and [Card ID Attribute] when [Auth. Setting by] is set to [On] for supported devices. Settings are not required if these functions are not used. The [Auth. Setting by] function is used when registering device authentication users to devices in Device Management.

[User ID Attribute]

Specifies the LDAP attribute name to associate with the user IDs of the tenant.

[User Name Attribute]

Specifies the LDAP attribute name to associate with the user names of the tenant.

[Accounting Label 1 - 3]

Specifies the method for converting from LDAP accounts to the accounting labels of Device Management.

[Setting Group]

Configures the setting group of Device Management.

[Length of Initial Password]

Specifies the number of digits for the initial password used for local device authentication, either zero or a number between four and 12.

When a number four or greater is specified, the a different password is generated for each user. The generated password can be checked by downloading the user information. For details, see "Print".

[E-mail Address Attribute]

Specifies the LDAP attribute name to associate with the e-mail addresses of the tenant.

[Card ID Attribute]

Specifies the LDAP attribute name to associate with the IC card IDs of the tenant.
