Setting Websites That Display DocuWorks Documents
If you want to view DocuWorks files in your web browser instead of downloading them, you need to set websites whose behavior you want to change.

The icon displayed on the toolbar differs between the site not set to display DocuWorks files (
) and the site set to display them (

- Up to 100 websites can be set.
Setting with the web browser's toolbar
Procedure
1.
With the website you want to set displayed, on the web browser's toolbar, click the extension icon
.

A pop-up menu appears.
Note
If the extension icon is not displayed on the web browser's toolbar, refer to "Displaying the icon on the toolbar" in Enabling the Extension for the Web Browser.
Depending on the website, DocuWorks documents can be displayed without needing to configure the settings.

Click [Settings].
The displayed website is set as the website whose behavior is to be changed.
Unsetting already set websites
To unset them in a batch
Procedure
1.
With the websites already registered displayed, on the web browser's toolbar, click the extension icon
.

Click [Clear Settings].
Note
A confirmation screen is displayed if there exist two or more settings. In this case, click [Delete All] on the confirmation screen.
To unset them one by one
Procedure
1.
On the [Optional Settings] screen, edit the list of the websites already registered.

Setting on the Extension's [Optional Settings] Screen
On the extension's [Optional Settings] screen, you can change the settings for the website whose behavior you want to change.
Procedure
1.
On the web browser's toolbar, click the extension icon extension icon
.

For both Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge, click [Extension Options].
The [Optional Settings] screen appears.
3.
Go to the [Optional Settings] screen > [Edit] > the [Edit Website] screen, and enter the URL of the website whose behavior you want to change, and click [Save].
Note
- Only one URL can be entered per row.
- The URLs can contain wildcard characters ("*").
- The URLs must begin with either http or https.
- The "/" at the end can be omitted.
4.
Click [OK].
Importing/Exporting Settings
You can export the settings to a file, and then import them to other PCs.
To export
Procedure
1.
Click [Export] on the [Optional Settings] screen.
The Save File dialog box appears.
2.
Enter a name for the file and save it.
Note
- The default file name is "hrome_sitelist.json" for Google Chrome, and "edge_sitelist.json" for Microsoft Edge.
- The exported file can be set as the config file to be used during installation.
To import
Procedure
1.
Click [Import].
The Select a File dialog box appears.
2.
Select the exported config file and open it.
Note
If one or more URLs are already set in [Website], the imported URLs are appended. Importing a file does not erase the existing settings.
Setting During Installation
You can set websites whose behavior you want to change by using a config file during installation.
Set websites whose behavior you want to change by describing the path to the config file you exported on the [Optional Settings] screen in the config file that is for customizing installation.
Set the "ChromeSiteListFile" key in the "ViewerControl" section for Google Chrome, or the "EdgeSiteListFile" key in the "ViewerControl" section for Microsoft Edge.

Set websites whose behavior you want to change by describing the path to the config file you exported on the [Optional Settings] screen in the config file that is for customizing installation.
