[Remote Settings] dialog box
This dialog box appears when you click [Remote Settings] in the [Preferences] dialog box.
Specify the LDAP server that is a target of the search for the certificate at [Remote search] in the [Add Certificate] dialog box.

[Directory server information]
[Server name]
Enter the DNS name or the IP address for the LDAP server that is a target of the search for the certificate.
[Search base]
Enter the LDAP DN that is a base point to search the certificate.
[Port number]
Enter the port number of the LDAP server. The default is "389".
[SSL connection]
Select this check box to connect to the LDAP server that you specified in [Server name] with SSL. [Port number] is changed to "636".
[User information]
[Logon is required for this server]
Select this check box if you require an account name and a password to connect to the LDAP server.
Only simple authentication is supported as the authentication method to log on the LDAP server.

[Account name]
Enter an account name to log on the LDAP server.
[Password]
Enter a password to log on the LDAP server.
[OK]
Confirms the connection to the LDAP server by the settings of the [Directory server information] and [User information]. When the connection is confirmed, saves the information of the [Directory server information] and [User information], and then closes the dialog box.
[Cancel]
Cancels the settings and closes the dialog box.
