[Appearance Settings] dialog box

This dialog box appears when you select [Appearance Settings] in the [Signature Settings] dialog box. Use this dialog box to specify the display format and size of a signature attached to the documents.

[Preview]

Displays the specified image.

[View modes]

You can change the view format. The default setting is [Text].
  • [Text]
    You can display [Signer], [Certification Authority], [Date], and [Remarks].
    By default, this box is selected.
  • When you select [Signer], "Issued to" which was used for signing will be displayed.
  • When you select [Certification Authority], "Issued by" which was used for signing will be displayed.
  • When you select [Date], the date on which the document was signed will be displayed.
  • When you select [Remarks], the settings in the [Remarks (option)] of the [Additional signing information] in the [Signature Settings] dialog box will be displayed.
  • [Image]
    Click [Image file] to select a bitmap file.
    You can use bitmap images with the maximum width and height of 512 pixels each.
    Bitmap files are automatically binarized. Black parts become of the color specified in [Color] and white parts become transparent.
  • [Color]
    Select the color for [Text] or [Image] specified in [View modes] from 16 options.
    The default setting is [Black].
  • [Background]
    When you specify the [Background], the image of a Digital Certificate will be shown in the background of a signature. By default, this box is selected.

[Display size]

Click [Size Setting] to specify the view size of a signature. You can specify a width and a height between 5 to 100 mm. The default setting is 20 mm. The whole signature will be reduced to fit into the [Preview] screen.
