[Advanced Settings] dialog box

Use this dialog box to specify advanced settings for printing from Easy Printer.
This dialog box appears when you click [Detailed Settings] in the [Print Setup] dialog box to set up easy printer plug-in and click [Advanced settings] in the [Detailed Settings] dialog box.
The features provided in this dialog box are useful if you are using a printer which is able to print in both color and monochrome.

[Split print job]

Divides a printing job before printing. If you select this item, you can select the page unit. By splitting a print job, you can print speedily a document with multiple pages and large file size.
Note
If you select multi-up (printing several pages onto one sheet) on the printer driver, be sure to specify the same page unit in this dialog box.

[Use monochrome printing for each page]

Specifies whether to print in color or monochrome mode for each page. If you select this check box, you can click [Set by each page] and specify monochrome or color.
Note
  • If you select [Do not show print setup dialog box when printing] in the [Print Setup] dialog box, the [Print] dialog box does not appear when you are running the Easy Printer. Therefore, you cannot specify the settings in the [Set by Each Page] dialog box.
  • This function may not be available, depending on the printer driver. For those printers, this item cannot be set.

[Set by each page]

Displays the [Set by Each Page] dialog box.
This button is available when [Use monochrome printing for each page] is selected.

[Print at high speed]

Specifies whether to print a document at high speed. DocuWorks documents hold image data compressed. If you select the box, the color images and grayscale images contained in the documents will be sent to the printer directly in JPEG format. Pages which do not contain color or grayscale images will be print at a same speed as the normal printing.
Note
  • If you select [Print at high speed], the following operations are restricted, because a part of the image processing may be skipped for high speed printing.
    • A part of the quality control functions set to the printer driver may be invalid.
    • A monochrome page containing grayscale images may be printed as color page, when the color mode of the printer driver is set automatically.
  • This function may not be available, depending on the printer driver. For those printers, this item cannot be set.
