[Image Converter] dialog box
This dialog box appears when you run the image converter plug-in or you select [Image Converter] from the [File] menu in Viewer.
Use this dialog box to specify the settings for an image file created from a DocuWorks file.

[Format]
Select an image file type for the conversion.
The default setting is [Bitmap File].

Note
- When multiple files are created, the files will be automatically named with a number.
- If you select TIFF file as the format and select [Multiple Pages in One File] in the [TIFF Setting] dialog box, the conversion will produce a single TIFF file only.
[Save to]
Specify the folder to save to.
The default is [Specify the folder].

- [Same as the selected DocuWorks file / PDF file]
The converted file will be saved to the folder where the source file is located. - [Specify the folder]
Displays the dialog box where you can specify the path to save the file to. If you select a path other than the desktop, it will become the default the next time you convert an image. The path name cannot exceed 255 alphanumeric characters.

[Same as the selected DocuWorks file / PDF file] can be selected only when you ran the image converter plug-in in Desk.
[Page Range]
Specify the page range for image file conversion. Each page specified will result in an image file each.
The default is [All]. If you select TIFF file as the format and select [Multiple Pages in One File] in the [TIFF Setting] dialog box, the conversion will produce a single TIFF file only. If you select [PDF file] as the format, the conversion will always produce a single PDF file.

[Resolution]
Select the resolution for conversion, or enter a value ranging from 75 to 600 dpi. The default resolution is the value selected the last time.

[Color/Monochrome]
Use this to specify the color for image file conversion.
The default setting is [Color].

[Convert color image to monochrome putting priority on quality]
Prefers high quality and converts a color image to monochrome. This button is available when [Monochrome] is selected in [Color/Monochrome]. However, this button is invalid when conversion format is JPEG or TIFF (compression type is JPEG).
[OK]
Converts to an image file according to the settings.
During the conversion, a dialog box indicating the remaining time required appears. You can stop the conversion if you click [Cancel] in this dialog box.
However, depending on the stage of the conversion, it may take a while to cancel it.
The remaining time shown is only an estimate and not the actual time.

[Details]
Specify the compression format when you select JPEG, TIFF, or PDF in Format.
When you click this button, either the [TIFF Setting] dialog box, the [JPEG Setting] dialog box, or the [PDF Setting] dialog box will appear.

Note
If the intermediate file created during the conversion exceeds 250 MB, the conversion will be cancelled.
If you are creating multi-page TIFF files and the total size of the intermediate files exceeds 250 MB, a message appears to prompt you. If you continue, the conversion may be cancelled according to the state of memory or disk space of your PC.
