About the Split Image Page Plug-in

The split image page plug-in allows you to split the content of a DocuWorks image document or PDF document to create a new document. This plug-in helps you make user friendly documents since you can view the image while specifying how you want to split your document or in which direction you want to print the pages.
For example, an A3 facing page can be split to create a document in A4 size consisting of two pages, or a multi-page document can be split to create a document in booklet format whose pages are facing.
The format of the generated file is the same as that of the source document.
The new document will not inherit any annotations pasted on the source document.

The following documents cannot be used:
  • A document with an attachment
  • A secured document
  • A digitally signed document
  • A document containing non-image pages
  • A document whose length or width is longer than A2 size by 1 cm or more
  • A document containing pages whose length or width is less than 2 px
Note
  • A mixed page size document can also be split. However, the split results may not be the one you expect.
  • For information on how to add the plug-in to your toolbar, refer to Adding Plug-in or Changing Setting.
