[Security][Document] Menu
Use this command to display a thumbnail of a protected document or specify, change or remove security settings.
[Display Thumbnail]
Displays the thumbnail of a protected document which does not show its thumbnail.
If you select a document or a binder protected by a password and click this command, the [Password] dialog box appears. Enter a password to open the document. The thumbnail of the protected document is displayed. If the password is stored temporarily, the [Password] dialog box does not appear and the thumbnail is displayed.
If the document is protected by an Electronic Signature, it opens when the Electronic Signature which permits the document to be opened is in [My Signature] of the Electronic Signature Case Tool and also the Electronic Signature Case opens.
If the document is protected by a Digital Certificate, the thumbnail appears when the certificate that was used to configure the security is registered with [Personal] in the Windows Certificate Manager.
This command is disabled if you have selected a protected document or a non-protected document which already shows its thumbnail, or if you have selected multiple DocuWorks files.

Specifies security settings on a non-protected document, or change or remove security settings of a protected document.
This command is disabled if you have selected a protected document which does not show its thumbnail, or if there is any one protected document when you have selected multiple DocuWorks files.
When you select this command, the [Security Module Options] dialog box appears.

Important
To change the security settings of a protected document, display its thumbnail before selecting this command.
Note
You cannot set securities on the following files:
- DocuWorks files or binders in a read-only folder
- Read-only files
- Files in a write-protect folder
- Signed documents
- PDF file
- Image file
