About Creating New Annotation Tools

You can create new annotation tools in addition to the annotation tools provided by default.
It is useful to register the annotations you frequently use or those shared by several users as annotation tools.

You can specify the following settings when you create a new annotation tool:

• Name of the annotation toolbar
• Whether to show or hide the toolbar in the Viewer window or the [Edit Desktop] window.
• Size of the toolbar buttons

• Creating and editing of an annotation tool
• Name of the annotation tool
• Whether to show or hide the annotation tool button on the annotation toolbar
• Order of annotation tool buttons on the annotation toolbar
• Inserting separators in the tool menu

You may want to use the annotation tool you created in Viewer on more than one PC. By copying and distributing the appropriate annotation tool file, you can use the same set of annotation tools on every PC. In other words, you don't have to create the same annotation tool on each PC.
The information for all annotation tools in an annotation toolbar is stored in one file.
