Make-up of Annotation Tool

Annotations are tools that you can use with DocuWorks documents, DocuWorks binders, and DocuWorks containers in much the same way you use stick-on notes, markers, or rubber stamps with paper documents and envelopes.
Also, you can also paste annotations on the workspace in Desk as you paste stick-on notes on your office desk.
The [Edit Desktop] window allows you to work with annotations in the workspace.

The [Edit Desktop] window is a mode where Viewer is being active, and in this mode, annotations in the workspace can be edited. Therefore, the description below about Viewer also applies to the [Edit Desktop] window.

Annotation tools are registered on one of the annotation toolbars.

On installation, various types of annotation tools are readily available by default. You can paste them without changing them or change colors and shapes after pasting them. Also, you can use them as a template to create other annotation tools.

Annotation tools can be specified for each user.
By distributing the annotation tool file containing the information for the annotation tools you created, you can use the same annotation tools on other PCs.

You can paste annotations using the [Annotations] menu or the buttons on the annotation toolbars of Viewer.
The [Annotations] menu shows the names of the annotation toolbars and the submenus show the names of the annotation tools.
The size of the annotation toolbar can be selected from among Large, Medium and Small.
