Annotation in Workspace

An annotation such as a notepad or shape can be pasted on the Desk Workspace as well as pages in a DocuWorks document. This feature allows you to paste a memo onto the Workspace as a notepad or enclose documents with a shape to divide them into groups.

An annotation on the Workspace is shown only when Desk is displayed in thumbnail view.

An annotation that can be pasted on a page using Viewer can also be pasted on all the Desktops.
Link and title annotations are displayed if pasted, but cannot be operated.

An annotation, which is pasted on the Workspace of the shared folder specified in the link folder, is shared between users who reference the shared folder using Desk.

To edit an annotation on the Workspace of the link folder, either of the following conditions is required.

• The link folder is set to a "shared folder" and the [Share folder status] check box is selected in the folder properties.
• No files or subfolders are included in the link folder.
