What is a Link between the Multifunction Device and DocuWorks Tray?

You can automatically convert faxed or scanned documents, which are stored in the mailbox of the multifunction device, to DocuWorks documents and load them into a tray.

Preparation for establishing a link between the multifunction device and DocuWorks Tray

Make the following preparations to establish a link between the multifunction device and DocuWorks Tray.

Registering a mailbox in the multifunction device

Register a mailbox in the multifunction device if it is not registered.
For the operation procedure, refer to the relevant manual of your multifunction device.

To load faxed documents into a tray, assign their save location to a mailbox.

For the settings, refer to the relevant manual of your multifunction device.

Configuring a Link between the Multifunction Device and DocuWorks Tray

The link setting between DocuWorks Tray and the multifunction device can be configured either using "Link Settings with Multifunction Device" or "Network Scanner Utility 3".

Install Network Scanner Utility 3 in the PC that contains DocuWorks Tray.

Network Scanner Utility 3 can be installed from the CD-ROM supplied with the multifunction device. Also, it can be downloaded free of cost from the FUJIFILM Business Innovation home page.
Note
  • Install Network Scanner Utility 3 only when it is used for linking the multifunction device and DocuWorks Tray.
  • In a multifunction device compatible with Network Scanner Utility 2, use Network Scanner Utility 2.

Determining a tray to load documents transferred from the multifunction device

To use an existing tray, determine which tray is appropriate. Otherwise, create a new tray.
