[New Document Notification Settings] Dialog Box

[Show notification screen when a new document is found]

Select this check box to display the [New Notification Screen] dialog box when a tray contains new documents.

[Display Time]

Specify the time required to automatically close the [New Notification Screen] dialog box where no operation was performed. The allowable range is 5 to 60 sec. The default is 10 sec.

[Play notification sound for a new document]

Select this check box to output a notification sound when a new document is detected in a tray.

[Use a sound scheme set in the system.]

Uses the sound file assigned to [Message (information)] in the sound settings of Windows.

[Use the following sound file]

Uses the sound file of which the location is entered in the text box with a full path.

[Browse]

Select the sound file in the [Open] dialog box.

[Play]

When [Use a sound scheme set in the system.] is selected:
The device plays the sound assigned to [Message (information)] in the sound settings of Windows.
When [Use the following sound file] is selected:
The device plays the sound file whose location is entered in the text box with a full path.
