Logging in to Use DocuWorks

To use DocuWorks Subscription or DocuWorks Subscription Suite, a login is required. Launching DocuWorks Desk, DocuWorks Viewer, or DocuWorks Viewer Control displays the login screen, where you log in to the service in accordance with the authentication settings for FUJIFILM BI Direct.
In order to use multi-factor authentication for FUJIFILM BI Direct, you must update DocuWorks to Version 9.1.5 or later. For information on setting up authentication for FUJIFILM BI Direct, refer to each document for FUJIFILM BI Direct.
Note
After installing DocuWorks Subscription or DocuWorks Subscription Suite, when you start DocuWorks for the first time, the Personal Settings Tool is launched automatically. Before you can use DocuWorks, you must configure your Personal Settings.

What Happens If You Save Your Login Information

If you select the [Save Login Information] check box on the login screen, your login information will be saved.
The saved login information will be used to verify the license status, so you can skip the login step on subsequent launches.
This verification of the license status with the saved login information is performed once a day at the time you launch the application for the first time in the day.
However, if 30 days elapses after the date on which the license status is last verified, you will need to log in again.
The use of the application without your login information saved imposes the following limitations:
The recommendation is to use the application with your login information saved.
  • If you log in without saving your login information, the following features cannot be used:
    • DocuWorks Printer
    • DocuWorks PDF
  • If you log in without saving your login information, the following applications cannot be used:
    • DocuWorks Tray
    • DocuWorks Document Information Entry (for DocuWorks Subscription Suite only)
Note
Even if you saved your login information, if you enable the use of multi-factor authentication for FUJIFILM BI Direct while you are logged in, you may be required to log in again.
