Extracting Images
Q.1
I have imported an image side of a large-size, such as A0 size, into a DocuWorks document with size reduction. Can I extract it from the resulting DocuWorks document as an image file having the same size and resolution as the original?
A.1
Using the extract image plug-in, you can obtain the original (unreduced) image from the size-reduced and converted DocuWorks document.
Q.2
Can I copy a portion of a DocuWorks document in Viewer and then paste it on another application data or another DocuWorks document while maintaining the image quality of the copy?
A.2
It is necessary to specify the appropriate resolution in the [Capture Image] dialog box in Viewer. For example, if you copy an image that was scanned at 400 dpi, and the resolution in the [Capture Image] dialog box is set to 400 dpi, you can paste while maintaining the image quality of the original image.
Q.3
Can I paste a portion of a scanned document on data from another application such as Microsoft Word or Excel?
A.3
Open the scanned document and select [Copy Image] or [Crop Image] from [Capture Image] in [Edit] menu. Select the area where you want to paste the data in the other applications. Open the document where you want to paste the data, specify the location where you want to paste it, then select [Paste] of [Edit] menu.
