[Device Folder Configuration Wizard]-[Scanner Specification]

When you display this screen for the first time, the multifunction machines which can reference the Device Folder are displayed in the [Searched Scanner] after retrieving the multifunction machines that exist in the same subnet as PC.
Select a multifunction machine from [Searched Scanner], then click [Next].
When you connect to a multifunction machine that exists in a different subnet as PC, enter the multifunction machine IP address or FQDN in [Specify the IP address or FQDN directly], then click [Next].

[Specify the IP address or FQDN directly]

Enter the multifunction machine IP address or FQDN of the multifunction machine you want to connect. You can enter up to 255 alphanumeric characters.
You can enter either IPv4 or IPv6 address.

[Searched Scanner]

The multifunction machines which can reference the Device Folder are listed after retrieving the multifunction machines that exist in the same subnet as PC.
Select a multifunction machine from the list, then click [Next].

[Name]

Displays the multifunction machine name.

[Device Name]

Displays the device name of the multifunction machine.

[IP Address / FQDN]

Displays the IP address of the multifunction machine.

[Location]

Displays the location of the multifunction machine.

[Search Settings]

Click [Search Settings] to search a multifunction machine specifying the community name of the multifunction machine. When the [Search Settings] dialog box appears, specify the SNMP community name (read only) of the multifunction machine.

[Repeat Search]

Search again the multifunction machines that exist in the same subnet as PC.
