[LDAP Server / Directory Service]


Note

This setting takes effect after the printer is restarted from Internet Services, or is turned off and then on again from the printer's control panel.

[Server Settings]

[Server Address]

Enter the address and port number of the primary LDAP server.

[Backup Server Address]

Enter the address and port number of the secondary LDAP server.

[LDAP Server]

Displays the application for the directory service.

[Advanced Settings]

[Search Directory Root]

Enter the root of the search directory.

[Login Credentials to Search Entries]

Set the login credentials to access the LDAP server.

[Login Name]

Enter the user name to log in to the LDAP server as the system administrator.

[Password]

Enter the password to log in to the LDAP server as the system administrator.

[Retype Password]

Enter the same string as that you entered in [Password].

[Maximum Number of Search Results]

Set the maximum number of search results that is to be returned by the LDAP server.

This item is displayed when the feature to display remote members is enabled.

[Search Timeout]

Set the timeout time for searching.

[Timeout]

This item is displayed when [Search Timeout] is set to [Specify Timeout].

Enter the amount of time after which timeout occurs.

[LDAP Referrals]

Set whether to use the referrals feature during a search.

[LDAP Referral Hop Limit]

Set how many hops away from the printer to the target LDAP server to query with the referral feature.

[Name Search Conditions]

[Name]/[Surname]/[Given Name]

Set whether to enable the condition to search for names, for each of the items.

[Connection Test]

[Date & Time]/[Status]

Displays the results of connection test. Clicking [Start] establishes connection to the LDAP server.
