[Email]

Set whether to enable use of the application.

Set whether to add the email address.

[Message Tags]

Set information added to message body.

[Signature]

Enter text for signature.

[Maximum Address Entries]

Set the maximum number of destination addresses allowed when sending an email.

[Read Receipts]

These settings work for Scan App, Email App, and Internet Fax App.

[Response to Read Receipts]

Set whether to auto-response to incoming emails if they request to acknowledge the delivery.

[Display Read Receipts]

Set whether to enable using of the Message Disposition Notifications (MDN) feature.

[Print Delivery Confirmation Email]

Set whether to automatically print delivery confirmation emails sent upon receipt of response to MDN.

[Split Send]

This item is displayed when the printer is equipped with a storage.

[Enable]

Set whether to enable split sending of emails.

[Maximum Split Count]

Set the maximum split count.

[Maximum Data Size per Email]

Set the maximum data size per email.

[Maximum Total Data Size]

Set the upper limit of the total email data size.

["From" Field]

[Default (Device Email Address):]

Displays the default sender address.

[Use Email Address of Logged-In User]

Set whether to use the email address of the logged in user.

[Edit "From" Field ]

Configure the settings for changing the sender address.

[S/MIME Settings]

This item is displayed when the S/MIME functionality is enabled.

[Encryption Algorithm]

When encryption is enabled under [Defaults], set the content encryption method.
When [FIPS 140-2] is enabled, C2-40, RC2-64, and RC2-128 cannot be set.

[Receive Untrusted Email]

Set whether to receive untrusted emails.

[Signature]

Set whether to apply S/MIME signatures to emails.

[Signing Certificate]

Set items related to the certificate for signing emails.
This item is displayed if the following conditions are satisfied:

  • "S/MIME" is enabled
  • "CAC IC card" or "IC card" is enabled.

[Send Encrypted Emails Individually]

Set whether to divide encrypted emails per recipient before sending.

[PDF Signature Settings]

This item is displayed when "PKI Encryption for Scanned File" or "PKI Signature for Scanned File" is enabled.

[PDF Signature]

Specify the settings for PDF signature.

[PDF Signature Hash Algorithm]

Specify what hash algorithm to use when adding digital signature to PDF files.

[Signing Certificate]

Specify the type of signing certificate.

[Device Certificate]

Set the device certificate for PDF.

This item is displayed when "PKI Signature for Scanned File" is enabled.

[When Sender's Address Is Unknown]

Set whether to allow authenticated users to scan and send documents even if their email addresses cannot be retrieved.

[Edit Email Recipients]

Set whether to allow users to edit TO, CC, and BCC.

[Domain Filtering]

Select the restrictions for the incoming and outgoing domains.

If you select [Allow Domains] and [Block Domains], also specify the target domains.

[Transmission Report]

Set what should be output on transfer (sent/not sent) monitoring reports.

[Memory Full Procedure]

Set the printer behavior in case memory overflow occurs when it attempts to scan data.

[Maximum Stored Pages]

Set the upper limit of the number of stored pages.

[Background Suppression]

Set the method and level for background suppression.

[Shadow Suppression Level]

Set the level of shadow suppression. This item is enabled when [Shadow Suppression] is set to [On] on the device.

[TIFF Format]

Set the format for TIFF files.

[File Name Format]

Set the format in which filenames with date are auto-generated.

[Add Date to Email Attachment Name]

Set whether to auto-add the date to the filename of documents to be sent.

These settings work for Scan App, Email App, and Internet Fax App.

[Add Login Name to PDF Properties]

Set whether to generate document information for authenticated users during PDF or PDF/A formatting.

[Auto Printing of Error Notification Mail]

Set whether to print error notification emails sent from the email server automatically.

These settings work for Scan App, Email App, and Internet Fax App.

[Incoming Email Settings]

[Receiving Protocol]

Set the protocol for receiving emails.

[Incoming Email Print Options]

Set the range to print within the received email header and message text.

[Print S/MIME Information]

Set whether to print S/MIME information.
This item is displayed when [Attachment, Full Headers & Message] is set.

This item is displayed when the S/MIME functionality is enabled.

[Print Email with No Message]

Set whether to print email sheets that do not contain messages.
This item is displayed when [Attachment, Basic Headers & Message] is set.

[Output Destination for Incoming Email]

Set the output tray for incoming email sheets.

This item is displayed when there is more than one tray whose output destination can be specified.

[Presets]

These settings work also for Scan App, Scan to Folder App, and USB App.

Set the priority of original sizes to be displayed and the orientation displayed when a standard size is selected.
