Protocol Settings - Bonjour

This page allows you to configure the settings for the Multicast DNS feature.
This page appears if your printer supports the Multicast DNS feature.
If the following settings conflict with other devices on the network, they may be overwritten by the settings of other devices.

LAN1


Host Name
Enter the hostname to be used on Multicast DNS within 63 bytes. The characters that can be entered include alphanumeric characters and hyphens (-).


Printer Name
Enter the printer name to be used on Multicast DNS within 63 bytes.


Wide-Area Bonjour
Select the [Enabled] check box to enable the Wide-Area Bonjour protocol.

LAN2
This item appears only when the printer is connected to a wireless network and Wi-Fi Direct is enabled.

Printer Name
Enter the printer name to be used on Multicast DNS within 63 bytes.
