Creating Forms from kintone
You can create a form by inserting the attribute information obtained from kintone into a form template.
File formats that can be used as form templates are Word and Excel.
The values to insert into the form will also be automatically registered as attributes of the form.

The xxx part of each label (≪TX_xxx≫ in Word documents, {{TX_xxx}} in Excel documents) in the form template must match the name of the attribute to be inserted and the field name in kintone.
Example: If you want to insert the value of the attribute "Customer Name", the label name in the form template must be ≪TX_Customer Name≫ or {{TX_Customer Name}}. -
When inserting values from kintone table, the xxx part of each label (≪TX_xxx≫ in Word documents, {{TX_xxx}} in Excel documents) in the form template must be "(field placed in table)(row number)".
Example: If you want to insert the value of the "Item Code" in the first row of the table, the label name in the form template must be ≪Item Code 1>> or {{TX_Item Code 1}}. -
The types of kintone fields that can be inserted are as follows:
- String Type
- Numeric Type
- Date Type
Adding a Tool to Create Forms from kintone
Procedure
1.
Click
on the displayed Task Navigationbar tab.

2.
Select [Create a Form from kintone] from the [Add Task Navigationbar Tool] screen, and click [Add].
3.
In the [Settings - Create a Form from kintone] dialog, select [App].
Note
- Clicking [App] will display a list of apps.
- Inputting in [App] will display apps that partially match the name.
4.
In [Fields to Display in Record Search Results], select the checkbox for the fields you want to display in the record search results.
5.
If you click [Select] under [Form Template], the [Select Reference File] dialog will be displayed.
Select the file you want to use as a template, and click [OK].
Select the file you want to use as a template, and click [OK].
6.
In the [Settings - Create a Form from kintone] dialog, click [Save].
Creating Forms from kintone Using Tool
Procedure
1.
Select the tool added in "Adding a Tool to Create Forms from kintone" from the Task Navigationbar.
2.
In the [Create a Form from kintone] dialog, specify [Record Number].
Note
By clicking [Search for Record], you can refine your search for records in the [Search for Record] dialog.
If you select the record you want to overwrite and click [OK], the [Record Number] in the [Create a Form from kintone] dialog will be updated.
If you select the record you want to overwrite and click [OK], the [Record Number] in the [Create a Form from kintone] dialog will be updated.
3.
If necessary, change each value in [Value to Insert into Form].
Note
Each value will be registered as a form attribute.
4.
Click [Create].
Changing the Settings of the Tool for Creating Forms from kintone
Procedure
1.
On the displayed Task Navigationbar tab, right-click the tool whose settings you want to change, and select [Settings] from the displayed context menu.
2.
In the [Settings - Create a Form from kintone] dialog, specify each item again as necessary.
3.
Click [Settings].
