Copying a Document
Up to 100 documents can be copied. If a document with the same name already exists in the destination, the document name will be automatically suffixed with a hyphen followed by a 5-digit number.
Copying a Document
Procedure
1.
Execute one of the following operations.
- From the Quick Menu, select [Copy].
- From the Task Navigationbar, select [Copy].
- Open Quick View, and select [Copy] from the Quick Menu for Quick View.

If any of the following conditions are met, the [Copy] dialog will be displayed. Select an action and click [OK].
- The default value of [Action when copying] in
[Personal Settings] is set to [Select at run time], and the document you want to copy has messages/comments
- The default value of [Attribute Value Inheritance] in
[Personal Settings] is set to [Select at run time]
Copying Only the Latest Version of the Document
Procedure
1.
Execute one of the following operations.
- From the Quick Menu, select [Copy Only Latest Version].
- From the Task Navigationbar, select [Copy Only Latest Version].
- Open Quick View, and select [Copy Only Latest Version] from the Quick Menu for Quick View.
Note
Document messages/comments will not be carried over to the duplicate document.
2.
If the default value of [Attribute Value Inheritance] in
[Personal Settings] is set to [Select at run time], the [Duplicate Latest Version Only] dialog will be displayed. Select an action and click [OK].

Changing the Default Action When Copying Documents
Procedure
1.
Click the
icon in the navigation header.

2.
Select one of the following options in [Action when copying].
- Select at run time
When copying, the message/comment processing selection dialog will be displayed. - Follow the settings below
You can set whether to delete the messages/comments.
3.
In [Attribute Value Inheritance], select one of the following.
- Select at run time
A dialog will be displayed for you to select whether to inherit the attribute values of the original document when copying a document. - Follow the settings below
You can set whether to inherit the attribute values of the original document.
4.
Click [Save].
Note
In the case of [Select at run time], you select the action when copying a document, but you can save the setting by selecting the [Save this setting in your user settings and don't show it again] checkbox.
