[Image Options] Tab

Enables you to configure advanced image quality settings.

[Output Color]

Sets whether to print in color or black and white.

  • If you select a color watermark in [Watermark] with the output color set to [Color], a color watermark is printed even on pages containing only black and white data.

[Output Recognition]

When [Output Color] is set to [Color], this configures whether to make the color judgment standards precise or vague.

[Image Quality]

Configures the image quality.

[Toner Saver]

Reduces power consumption.

[Universal Emphasis Print]

Detects the parts of the document written in red and shades or underlines them for emphasis when printing.

  • This cannot be used in conjunction with the following.
    • [Watermark]
    • [Annotation]

[Change Image Settings]

Select [Standard(Recommended)] or [Others].

[Color Adjustment]

If you selected [Others], select the type of image quality adjustment.

[ICM Adjustment (System)]

Performs image quality adjustment in the Windows system.

[CMS Adjustment (Application)]

Performs image quality adjustment on the application side.

[Complementary Color Conversion]

Does not perform image quality adjustment.

[Intent]

Configure this when [ICM Adjustment (System)] is selected in [Color Adjustment]. It specifies the adjustment method according to the output image.

[Profile Settings]

Displays the [Profile Settings] screen.

[Default All]

Restores the default settings of the printer.
