2.5 Document Translation

PDF documents stored in FUJIFILM IWpro File Management can be machine-translated into 11 languages.
Languages that can be translated are Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Thai, Malay, Spanish, and Portuguese.
Note
  • Accurate translation may not be achieved due to machine translation.
  • Operation for translations are performed on a document-by-document basis.
  • There is a limit to the number of pages that can be translated. Up to 500 pages can be translated per month per office.
    - Each month ends on the last day of the month, Japanese time.
    - The current total of translated pages can be checked at the [Translate document] screen.
  • The only file format that can be translated is PDF. The conditions for translatable PDF documents are as follows:
    - File size up to 100 MB
    - Up to 100 pages
    - No security settings
    - Pages not larger than A3
  • If there is insufficient information in the PDF document to extract the text (e.g., if the text in the PDF document is copied in any PDF viewer and the result is garbled), the text in the PDF document cannot be extracted correctly and the document translation may produce unintended results.
    In such cases, please create a PDF with outlines of the fonts, or output the PDF to paper and scan it to create a PDF, etc., so that the text and fonts are not embedded in the PDF before translating the document.
