Creating Business Item Definition
The business item definition can be created by either of the following two methods: create new; or create by importing an XML file that contains business item definition. You can delete, edit, and export the created business item definition.
Creating New Business Item Definition
1.
Click [Create New].
The [Create New Business Item Definition] screen appears.
2.
Click [OK].
The [Summary] screen appears.
3.
Read the explanations on the screen, and then click [Next].
The [Step/Evidence Settings] screen appears.
4.
Click [Add Step] or [Add Group].vvv
Lines for step and step group will be added to the table.
5.
Enter the name of step or step group and the name of evidence definition, then click [Next].
The [Property Settings] screen appears.
Note
- Selecting the field for step enables clicking of [Add Evidence Definition].
- Clicking [Add Evidence Definition] adds the field for evidence definition.
6.
Click [Create New].
The [Create New Property] screen appears.
7.
Enter [Property Name] and other items, and click [OK].
A new property will be created.
Note
You can edit, copy, and delete the created property.
8.
Click [Next].
The [Document Location Settings] screen appears.
9.
Click [Select].
The [Select Drawer/Cabinet] screen appears.
10.
Select either a cabinet or drawer, and click [Select].
The drawer to be used will be set.
11.
Click [Create].
The [Create Business Item] screen appears.
12.
Click [OK].
The structure editor screen for the business item definition appears.
Note
The set business item definition is still in a temporary registration status. Continue on with saving of business item definition on the structure editor screen.
13.
Click [Save].
The [Save Business Item Definition] screen appears.
14.
Click [OK].
The business item definition will be created.
Note
- The newly created business item definition will continue to be available for editing on the structure editor screen.
- The newly created business item definition will remain as a draft version until a publishing operation is performed.

Importing Business Item Definition
1.
Click [Import].
The [Import Business Item Definition] screen appears.
Note
On the screen with which one or more business item definitions are already set, click
and select [Import].
2.
Click [Select].
The file selection screen appears.
3.
Select the XML file you want to import, and click [Open].
In [XML files], the selected XML file name appears.
4.
Click [Import].
The [Confirm Import] screen appears.
5.
Click [OK].
The business item definition is imported, and the [Import Complete] screen appears.
6.
Click [Close].
Editing Business Item Definition

Deleting Business Item Definition
1.
Select the business item definition you want to delete, then click
and select [Delete].
The [Confirm Business Item Definition Deletion] screen appears.
2.
Click [OK].
The selected business item definition becomes deleted, and the [Business Item Deletion Complete] screen appears.
3.
Select [Close].
Exporting Business Item Definition
1.
Select the business item definition you want to download, then click
and select [Export].
The information of selected business item definition is downloaded as an XML file.
Note
The file name becomes as follows: "processDefinition_{yyyyMMddHHmmss}.xml"
Publishing Business Item Definition
1.
Select the business item definition you are creating, and click [Publish].
The [Publish Business Item Definition] screen appears.
2.
Click [OK].
The published business item definition becomes activated.
Note
The status of newly created or edited business item definition becomes as in the process of creation. The business item definition in the process of creation becomes activated after it is published.
Managing Business Item Definition Version
A version number is assigned to the business item definition in the order of publishing. The assigned version number is displayed in [Version Number]. The version number of edited business item definition will be changed to the latest version number available at the time of its publishing. With the latest published business item definition, its [Status] is displayed as "Active" and becomes applicable for the selected business item.
