This section describes notes and restrictions related to device management and how to handle them.

About service delivery

About service time

Service is available 24 hours 7 days, but may be stopped for maintenance once a month. In that case, we will announce it with “notification screen" minimum of 5 working days prior to it.

About internet connection

This service needs the Internet connection. When a problem occurs for communication with the FUJIFILM IWpro service, the service is not available.

Notes and restrictions

FUJIFILM IWpro Device Management

  • Figures on a billing statement that are based on the device's billing meter counts may be different from those tallied by means of FUJIFILM IWpro.
  • If your organization subscribes to several FUJIFILM IWpro instances, more than one FUJIFILM IWpro cannot share the same devices as management targets.
  • If your organization replaces a device, a procedure for FUJIFILM IWpro to manage the new device is required. There is a certain period before completion of the procedure, for which device usage data cannot be collected.
  • "Receive Internet Fax, Transfer Fax" users are outside the scope and thus not displayed in the accounting results, although they are displayed on the screen where you select the accounting target users.
  • When you use the zoom function of a web browser to zoom in or out the FUJIFILM IWpro web page, some characters and images may not be displayed correctly. It is advisable to maintain 100% zoom level when using the zoom function of a web browser.
  • If you reset a hard disk of a device, stored job logs will be deleted, so that the counters that are not notified yet cannot be tallied.By executing [Run Notification Processing Now], on Internet Services and then all the stored job logs can be notified.
  • If an error occurs by executing [Recalculate Counter], shorten the period and run again.
  • An error may occur during data download. If this occurs, try the download again.
  • An error may occur when a large amount of data is registered in bulk in a CSV file. If this occurs, please register the data by splitting into multiple CSV files.
  • Even if you switch the aggregate tenant on [Usage Data Accounting] screen for multi-tenant skewered aggregation, the target month of monthly aggregation and the start and end dates of daily aggregation and machine operating hours aggregation may not be switched. If this occurs, reload the screen and select the aggregation tenant again.
  • The maximum number of devices that can be managed by FUJIFILM IWpro is 1,500.
  • The maximum number of service users that can be registered with FUJIFILM IWpro is 45,000.
  • The maximum number of device users that can be registered with FUJIFILM IWpro is 40,000.
  • The maximum number of device users that can be set for a single device in FUJIFILM IWpro is 5,000 when [Accounting Mode] is [Network], and 999 when [Local].
  • The maximum number of account IDs that can be registered with FUJIFILM IWpro is 2,000 for a single device and 30,000 for the entire system.
  • The maximum number of account IDs that can be associated with a single user in FUJIFILM IWpro is 200.
  • There is a limit to the maximum number of users and account IDs that can be associated over the entire tenant.
  • If you want to delete an account ID, delete all the user associations for that account ID before deleting the account ID. If you delete the account ID first, the job logs for the users associated with that account ID will be counted as unknown users.
  • When [Auth. Setting by] is enabled, the operations for adding users and reflecting IC card IDs may not be reflected at once. Check again after waiting for a while.

FUJIFILM IWpro Device Setup

  • When setting up a multifunction device using FUJIFILM IWpro Device Setup, set the multifunction device's time to the correct time.
  • For multifunction devices using the current product, Device Log Service, only the "Print Feature" of FUJIFILM IWpro can be used. When setting up the functions to be used in FUJIFILM IWpro Device Setup, please install only the "Print Feature."
    Please note that if you install the "Device Feature" of FUJIFILM IWpro, you will not be able to use the multifunction device app of Device Log Service. In such cases, uninstall the multifunction device app of FUJIFILM IWpro using FUJIFILM IWpro Device Setup, and then reconfigure the multifunction device app using the Device Log Service setup tool.
