[Setting Group Management] Screen

This screen is displayed by clicking [Setting Group Management] in [System Settings] in the [Device Management] menu.

By setting the same groups as device groups to users, the setting information of users can be reflected to the devices in the same group.

  • Group management is available when [Auth. Setting by] is set to [On] on the [Properties] screen of the device.

[Add]

On the displayed screen, enter a new group name, and click [OK].

When [Default Account ID] is set, the account ID of the setting group is used to perform usage data accounting if an account ID is not assigned to the job log of the user.

[Default Account ID] also retains settings for users and devices. [Default Account ID] for a setting group is reflected to a job log if [Default Account ID] is not set for the user or device.

  • To set [Account ID List], click [image] on the displayed screen. Enable [Select Default Account ID] on the [Select Default Account ID] screen and select the account ID to set.

On the displayed screen, edit the group name, and click [OK].

Deletes the selected setting group. Click [OK] on the confirmation screen.

  • You cannot delete a group where devices belong. Change the devices to another group before deleting the group.
  • Users that were in a deleted group are changed to the [Accounting Only] group.
