Confirming the Network Settings of the Device (Using the Control Panel)
This section describes how to configure a device to communicate with a cloud environment.
- Ensure that these settings are always enabled while using FUJIFILM IWpro, not only during device setup.
- Make sure that the network administrator confirms the settings.
Overview
To register a device to FUJIFILM IWpro for use, it is necessary to configure the network settings of the device so that it can connect to the server.
You can check the link for the URL of the server to connect to.
What are the URLs that may be accessed when using FUJIFILM IWpro
The following items must be configured.
- Information for the network environment of the customer (proxy server and firewall settings)
- Device to register to FUJIFILM IWpro
Configuring the Network Environment of the Customer (Proxy Server and Firewall Settings)
When a proxy server and/or firewall are used, configure the following items for connecting to the server used by FUJIFILM IWpro.
The required items may differ according to the environment of the customer.
These settings do not need to be configured if a proxy server or firewall are not used.

Confirming/Configuring the Network Settings of the Device
Configure the device settings according to the network environment of the customer, so that the device can communicate with the server used by FUJIFILM IWpro.
Follow one of the following procedures to confirm/configure the network settings.

Confirming/Configuring Settings in Internet Services
If you know the IP address of the device and can use Internet Services, use this method to confirm and configure the settings.
- The procedure differs according to the model of the device. For details, see the manual of the device.
- Access Internet Services, then log in as the system administrator.
- Confirm the settings of the various items.Configuring the Proxy Server Settings
- Click [Network] > [Protocol Settings] > [HTTP].
- Confirm the following settings.
Item Value Proxy Server Enabled - If this setting is disabled, confirm that the environment enables the server used by FUJIFILM IWpro to be accessed directly.
Proxy Server Address and port of the proxy server for connecting to the server used by FUJIFILM IWpro - If a PAC file is used to configure the proxy server, specify a PAC file that can connect to the above server.
- If proxy server authentication is required, confirm that the user name and password for proxy authentication are set.

Configuring the SOAP Protocol- Click [Network] > [Protocol Settings] > [SOAP].
- Confirm the following settings.

Configuring Reception IP Address Restrictions- Click [System] > [Security Settings] > [Network Security] > [IP Filter].
- Confirm the following settings.
Item Value IPv4 Disabled
SSL/TLS CommunicationThis operation is only required if you are using the Device function.- Click [Network] > [Protocol Settings] > [HTTP].
- Confirm the following settings.
Item Value Port (HTTP/HTTPS) [Enable All] or [Enable HTTPS Only] - The available settings differ according to the device model. Confirm that HTTPS is running.
Port Number (HTTPS) 443
Configuring the SNMP Service SettingsThis operation is only required if you are using the Device function.- Click [Network] > [Protocol Settings] > [SNMP].
- Confirm the following settings.
Item Value Ports Enabled SNMP v1/v2 Enabled - To disable SNMP v1/v2 and enable SNMP v3 only, also enable the printer driver account.
Confirming/Configuring Settings on the Device Control Panel
If you do know the IP address of the device and cannot use Internet Services, use this method to confirm and configure the settings.
Make a note of the device IP address, as it will be used for configuring settings later.
- The procedure differs according to the model of the device. For details, see the manual of the device.
- Log in to the device as the system administrator.
- Tap [
]. - Confirm the settings of the various items.IP Address
- Tap [Device Status].
- Make a note of the IP address in a program such as Notepad.
DNS SettingsConfirm these settings if they have been changed from their default values.- Tap [Settings] > [Network Settings] > [Protocol Settings] > [TCP/IP - Network Settings] > [IPv4 - DNS Server Setup].
- Confirm the following settings.
Item Value Get IP Address from DHCP Enabled - If disabled, confirm that the correct value is set for [DNS Server Address 1].
Configuring the Proxy Server Settings- Tap [Settings] > [Network Settings] > [Proxy Server List] > [Proxy Server Configuration].
- Confirm the following settings.
Item Value Use Proxy Server Enabled - If this setting is disabled, confirm that the environment enables the server used by FUJIFILM IWpro to be accessed directly.
HTTPS Proxy Server Name Address of the proxy server for connecting to the server used by FUJIFILM IWpro - If a PAC file is used to configure the proxy server, specify a PAC file that can connect to the above server.
HTTPS Proxy Server Port Number HTTPS Proxy Server Authentication Disabled - If [On] is set, confirm that the user name and password for proxy authentication are set.

HTTP - SSL/TLS Port Number 443
Configuring the SNMP Service SettingsThis operation is only required if you are using the Device function.- Tap [Settings] > [Network Settings] > [Port Settings].
- Confirm the following settings.
Item Value SNMP Enabled
- A device can have both a primary port and secondary port, but the Internet connection must use the primary port.
- Use Internet Services to specify the primary network of the device. Note that settings for the primary network are only displayed if a secondary network is enabled.
For the Apeos series: [Network] > [Ethernet] > [Primary Network]
For the ApeosPort series: [Properties] tab > [Network Settings > [Protocols] > [TCP/IP] > [Common Settings] > [Primary Network]
- Use Internet Services to specify the primary network of the device. Note that settings for the primary network are only displayed if a secondary network is enabled.
