Using Date Stamp Annotations
This topic describes how to paste a date stamp on a page.

Pasting a date stamp
Procedure
1.
Select a command from the [Annotations] pop-up menu or from the annotation toolbar.
For instance, select [Date Stamp/Black] of [1 Basic].

The shape of the cursor changes.

Click a desired position in a page or in a notepad to paste a date stamp.
The [Date Stamp Properties] dialog box appears.
If [Date] is set to [Set any date], the specified date is displayed in [Date field]. If [Date] is set to [Set today's date], the date when you pasted the stamp is displayed.
If [Date] is set to [Set any date], the specified date is displayed in [Date field]. If [Date] is set to [Set today's date], the date when you pasted the stamp is displayed.
Changing the properties
In the [Date Stamp Properties] dialog box, you can modify the date, text strings displayed above and below the date, and color of the date stamp after pasting it. You can also apply traditional era instead of the western calendar year using [Base year]. You can also change the color of the date stamp using the property toolbar.
Note
You cannot change the size of the date stamp.
