[Deskew] dialog box

This dialog box appears when you select [Deskew] from [Page] menu. Use this dialog box to specify and correct any skewing (0-5 degrees) of pages of DocuWorks documents created from image.
The default is [Left].

[Left]

Rotate the image data counterclockwise to deskew.

[Right]

Rotate the image data clockwise to deskew.

[degree]

Enter a degree here between 0 and 5 to deskew. Decimal can also be entered.

[Specify with Mouse]

Specify the angle of correction by dragging the mouse.
When you click this button, the shape of the mouse pointer changes. In this state, drag the mouse within the page to draw a base line. While dragging the mouse, the base line appears and the correction angle calculated from the base line is indicated in the dialog box. When you release the mouse button, the shape of the mouse pointer returns to the original shape and the correction angle is confirmed. You can redo specifying the base line by clicking the [Specify with Mouse] if you do not click [OK].
Note
Correction angle can be specified by the mouse between 0 and 5 degrees. When you draw a base line exceeding the range, the shape of the mouse pointer changes and the correction angle cannot be confirmed.
