[DocuWorks Electronic Signature Case Tool] window

You can use the Electronic Signature Case Tool to check your My Electronic Signature or Trusted Electronic Signatures (others' Electronic Signatures) or to perform many operations on Electronic Signatures.
The Electronic Signature Case Tool is composed of 2 parts: a view portion and a menu portion, both of an Electronic Signature. In the view portion, you can select either the [My Signature] or [Trusted Signature] tab to display My Electronic Signature and Trusted Electronic Signature respectively.

[File] menu

[Change Password]

Changes the password needed to open an Electronic Signature Case.

[Open Another Signature Case]

Displays the [Open Signature Case] dialog box. If you enter a correct password, you can open another Electronic Signature Case. When you open another case, you will not be able to manipulate the case which you have used until then. Click [Cancel] in this dialog box to return to operation on the case you have used.

[Exit Signature Case Tool]

Closes the Electronic Signature Case Tool.

[Edit] menu (when displaying the [My Signature] tab)

[Sign the DocuWorks Document]

Signs the selected Electronic Signature on the document shown in Viewer to save it. Select this command and click the position on which you want to sign the Electronic Signature. [Save As] dialog box appears. Specify a location.

[Create New My Signature]

Specify the properties of your own Electronic Signature to create it in the [Create New My Signature] dialog box.

[Delete My Signature]

Deletes the selected My Electronic Signature.

[My Signature Properties]

Displays the properties of the selected own Electronic Signature in the [My Signature Properties] dialog box.

[Create Proof Information for Signature]

Creates the selected Electronic Signature Proof Information of the selected Electronic Signature in the [Creating proof information for Signature] dialog box.

[Edit] menu (when displaying the [Trusted Signature] tab)

[Add a Trusted Signature]

In the [Add a Trusted Signature] digital box, open the Proof Information of another Electronic Signature to add the Electronic Signature included in it to the list of authorized Electronic Signatures.

[Delete a Trusted Signature]

Deletes a Trusted Electronic Signature. When you select one authorized Electronic Signature and use this command, a prompt appears asking whether or not to delete the Electronic Signature. Click [OK] to delete the Electronic Signature.

[Trusted Signature Properties]

Displays the properties of the Trusted Electronic Signature selected in the [Trusted Signature Properties] dialog box.

[View] menu

[Square area]

Enlarges or reduces Electronic Signatures with keeping the same aspect ratio so that they may become squares, and displays Signature-impression icons horizontally in a row.

[Rectangular area]

Enlarges or reduces Electronic Signatures with keeping the same aspect ratio so that they may become rectangles, and displays 2 Signature-impression icons horizontally per row and Signatures in vertical direction.
The default is [Rectangular area].
Note
When a signature-impression is a square, specify [Square area] for easy viewing.
