Confirming the Security Settings
For a protected document, the [Security] tab is added to the [Document Properties] dialog box which shows the security settings for it.
You don't need a password or an Electronic Signature to open the [Document Properties] dialog box. You can display the document properties even if the thumbnail for the document is not displayed (when a padlock mark is shown) in Desk.

Procedure
1.
In Desk, change the view mode of the workspace to thumbnail view, select a protected document for which you want to display the properties, then select [Properties] from the [File] menu.
In Viewer, open the protected document, then select [Properties] [File] Menu.

The [Document Properties] dialog box appears.

Select the [Security] tab.
The restricted operation settings are displayed.
[Not permitted] or [Authorize] is displayed about each operation for [Document Editing], [Annotation Editing], [Printing], and [Copying].

Click [Additional Information].
The [Additional Information] dialog box appears indicating the security module protecting the document.
